Your Social Media Content…Is it juicy enough?

When creating content for your social media outlets, how are you helping readers to imagine what you are saying?

Yes you read this correctly I said imagine! Part of being a writer is the ability to pull readers in with thought-provoking ideas and imagery. Example: I met a man and he is very nice. BORING! The sky was blue. BORING! She intertwined her fingers into mine and at first touch my hand felt as if it was touching silk. So smooth and delicate even the lines on her palm did nothing to sway me away from caressing this treasure. Ok better! (Hmmmmm I’m starting to think I might have a career as a romance novelist!)

Remember that social media content is your way of expressing who you are or what your brand is all about. There is no magic formula in existence to help you write the best piece of content. Part of understanding your marketing efforts is understanding what your target demographics wants, needs, likes and possibly dislikes are. Take a stroll through any posts from fans on your page. This is your first hint at content you should write about. Not only will you show you relate to them, but it shows you took the time to read their posts. Which is what ladies and gentleman? GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!! (I have a great Best Buy story to tell which I will share later).

So you are not a savvy writer you say? Not a problem. There are plenty of agencies or freelance writers willing to help give that extra bit of content juice to your fan page.

Simply do a search on the internet for writers in your area, or feel free to contact me. Have a great weekend.
